I'm back to it. It's officially ok to be funny again. I'm going to be trying some one-offs, if you will, meaning some random shit, essentially. Enjoy

A Chronic Lack of Funny

Hey, all three of you who read this!

So, as you can tell, I haven't updated anything in a while. There's a good reason for that.

Specifically, what is going on in the world is more important than being funny, and there's not a lot to laugh at right now. Everything I've been trying to write has come out ranting and angry. I've been entirely engrossed in the election for the last two years, and it's culminating to a head tonight.

Hopefully tomorrow the funny will come back, and it'll be ok to laugh again. But there is a serious chance that the funny will be gone from America for the rest of time. And if that happens, I will be leaving the country, giving up my citizenship, and saying goodbye forever. And I'm entirely serious.

If you haven't done it yet (which I imagine all three of you have...) VOTE.

All the best wishes
Jamie

9/23/2008 (I've got a bumper sticker for ya)

Tried something new with this one. Something that none of you could possibly even care about. But I stole a technique from the boys over at penny-arcade.com

Basically, I tried scanning the rough copy into my computer, and then did all the drawing on my computer using my fancy stylus pad. I don't know if it's any BETTER, but it did make coloring easier. So I may do some computer work only from now on. We'll just see. But my hand is a bit shakey, and I'm still working on truely understanding how to use this stupid thing.

On a side note, I actually love Calvin and Hobbes. I'm just being funny

9/11/08

This is my favorite piece I've ever done. Please enjoy it.

On a side note, today is 9/11. To me, the boys nightmare might be terrifying. But wouldn't it be amazing if we woke up tomorrow and found out that the last 8 years have been a nightmare? That'd be awesome. Global warming would be solved, the economy would be doing great, President Gore would be running for a magical third term and everyone in the US would get a free ice cream sandwich on every Friday. Ah, to dream...

The truth hurts...I think I should get a Billy Bookcase...

Ah, my favorite subject. Me.

EDIT: It was pointed out to me that the wording on this is confusing to my idiot roommates. So, for those of you confused on the verbage and such, i'm not implying that the couch he's laying on is an ikea couch, but rather he is sitting in an ikea being psychoanalyzed by a dude whilest traveling through an ikea.

Duh.

I hate you
